現在の高瀬川は高速道路またがり、川カニ︎もコンクリート等3面張りになり、川魚もいません。昔はきれいなせい流であり、多くの川魚がいました。（カニ、ウナギ、アユ等）アユなど、よく手づかみして遊んだ思い出があります。
