聞いた話によると、舟小屋は、明治ごろには、あったらしい。向いの島にある梅畑に行くために船を使用し、梅を運ぱんしていたとの事で、その船を保管するのが、この舟小屋でした。現在は、車で梅畑へ行けるようになったが、今でも船を使用しているとのことでした。
